A Dream Come True.

Once Upon A Time a fellow named John Christison from Long Island, NY was visiting with family members in Warwick. He thought this town was a very special place and that Warwick deserved to have its own special place to eat, drink, and relax. With this in mind, John set off on his quest.

Through friends, he heard about Ron Henninger (Fine Design), a furniture maker who, at the time, was living up near the Canadian border. After a few meetings and telephone calls, the plan for John’s dream began to unfold.

Everything fell into place and “Yesterdays” was created. John then found Jo Ann Mannino of Sundog Stained Glass. Jo Ann sandblasted and etched the wonderful windows of the front facade.

Now John had the setting, but needed a Chef to bring on the fine food. For this task, John chose Craig Merril, a 1973 graduate of the Culinary Institute. Craig’s gourmet cooking was the last brick needed to create A Dream Come True…

Yesterdays is not only known for its fine food and drink, but our incredible homemade desserts as well. We offer a large assortment of goodies to top your lunch or dinner dining experience with. Many of our desserts are hand prepared by our resident executive pastry chef Peggy Christison. Chef Christison has been with our establishment for many years and her pastry chef skills are widely acclaimed throughout the Hudson Valley.

Yesterdays can host your event in its banquet room located on Sleepy Valley Road in Warwick, NY.

We have the capacity to host an event of up to 80 persons leaving you to enjoy your occasion while we take care of everything else. Our highly skilled master chefs, veteran restaurant management team, and pastry chefs can customize your menu to order to meet your needs whether it be to fit a party theme or because of dietary restrictions. This includes low carbohydrate food items and vegetarian dishes. We can prepare your meal in a traditional five course manner or buffet style. We can handle any type of serving whether it be appetizers, entrees, or desserts. Yesterdays can even prepare custom birthday cakes made to order. If it’s on our menu, in a recipe, or if you can just describe it to us, we probably can make it a food dish reality!
